SEO and AI visibility.

Ranking is no longer the whole job. A growing share of people read an answer rather than a list of links, and something had to decide which sources that answer trusts.

Search changed shape over the last two years and most sites have not caught up. People still type questions into Google, but more and more of them read a generated answer instead of clicking through a list. That answer gets assembled by a model that had to pick which sources to believe.

Being on page one does not help you much if the model does not quote you.

Where this comes from

I should be straight about this, because the field is full of people who are not. I am not an agency with a decade of case studies and a wall of logos. What I have is a set of properties I own, that I have optimised myself, where I can show you exactly what I changed and what happened afterwards.

This site ranks first for my name. It got there within weeks of launching, on a domain with no history, against an established person with a similar name who had years of results behind him. Not through keyword density. Through making every document I publish point at a single machine-readable identity: the same identifier on this site, on the agency site, on the author page, and on every article across both domains. At that point a search engine stops inferring that those are the same person and starts knowing it.

The part most people get wrong

Assistants answer by lifting passages. That has a consequence almost nobody writes for.

A page of nicely flowing prose about your company gives a model nothing to lift, because every sentence leans on the one before it. Pull any paragraph out on its own and it starts with "we" or "this" or "that approach" and means nothing. Content that gets quoted is content where individual paragraphs survive being taken out alone, which means naming the subject instead of using a pronoun, and stating the claim before the reasoning rather than building up to it.

You can hear the difference if you read a page out loud starting from a random paragraph. Most marketing sites fail that test immediately.

What the work involves

What I will not promise

Rankings by a date. Anyone promising that is either guessing or is about to do something to your site you will have to undo later.

I also will not promise that search is your problem. Sometimes a business has fine visibility and a conversion problem, or a product problem, and more traffic just means more people finding out. If that is what I see, that is what I will tell you, and it is a shorter and cheaper conversation for both of us.

One honest limit

Structured data tells a search engine what is true. It does not manufacture the authority that makes them rank you over an established competitor. That comes from being referenced across the web over time, and there is no markup that shortcuts it. What good technical work does is make sure that when the authority does arrive, nothing on your site is throwing it away.

Talking about it

Send me the URL on WhatsApp or at hello@scalewiseva.com and I will tell you what I would change first and why. If the ecommerce side is where you actually need help, that runs through ScaleWise VA.
